I want to kick off today with something so cool that I learned.

I'm so excited to tell you, Bob, especially you, because you love restaurants and restaurant culture.

The world's oldest restaurant has been in business continuously for 300 years.

Did you know that? I didn't know about this. I just learned about this. It's in Spain.

And it was opened by a French chef named Jean-Botin and his wife back in 1725.

The building where it's located was built in 1590, but that's not even the really cool part.

The really cool part is they have a wood-burning oven at this restaurant that they lit 298 years ago and it's never gone out.

That's crazy.

Every day they keep that fire stoked and burning continuously for 298 years.

And so what do they serve at this restaurant, the world's oldest restaurant, which, by the way, if you ever want to go to it, it's the restaurantese, Sobrino de Bottin, which is named after the chef that started it 300 years ago.

It's like old school Spanish cooking, you know,

suckling, whole suckling pigs and that sort of thing.

In that wood fire oven, which has been burning continuously for 298 years.
