Somebody asked me who the more serious parent is, me or my wife, and I think it really depends on the circumstances, the situation, the child.

There's a lot there, but inevitably one of us seems to find a

Now you're right on. Am I? Yes yes Heather's more the serious one. She has lists on her mind. She has tasks that she wants to get done and I do love to play and hang out and be relational. I look at relationship first and tasks second.

Sometimes that's not the best thing. And then she gets serious with you.

That's right. We need to get these things done and so they're pros and cons to both.
