and that is to get into a tiny little ship called the Mayflower

that was paid for not only by the little money that they had,

but also paid for by others.

They called merchant adventurers.

These were strangers, they called them.

They didn't know them, and they certainly didn't have their worldview

and their values, and they got on the ship with them.
