I hope yesterday's episode felt like a turn in the week. Like Monday and Tuesday, we're building to something.

And Wednesday was part of that thing. We're talking about the connection between Christians and Jews and Christians in Israel.

On Monday, we talked about how God is burned with anger towards the Jews, but has not rejected

them, as Paul said in Romans 11, by no means has God rejected the Jews. Well, why not? We talked about

that on Tuesday, the Abrahamic covenant. God promised unconditionally to bless his chosen people.

And for us, this means that as the branches of the olive tree have fallen off, those are Jews who

don't believe that Jesus is the Messiah,

it has given Gentiles the chance to be grafted in.

Romans 1125, the partial hardening has come upon Israel

until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Galatians 3-7 puts it nicely.

Know then that it is those of faith.

It's you and me, who are the sons of Abraham.

So the Jews, Abraham is the father of the Jews.

But it is those of faith who are now the sons of Abraham.

Faith in Christ.

That's the link to the promises made to Abraham.

That's unbelievable.

So that's where we are.

Now, that's a wonderful thing.

I mean, that's like the best thing ever.
