because I think any of you are jerks. I actually think that if anybody can save the world, it is the

very listeners of this podcast. You are some of the most conscientious, smart, hardworking people

that I've come into contact with and I know that that's the common

thread between all of you and between all of us. So I'm, I'm creating this episode for a couple

reasons. The first reason is that we are unfortunately living in a time where everybody is

obsessed with themselves. And that's not our fault,

right? Like that's not our fault. It is social media and it is the way that the world has

shifted and changed and has created us all into really big individualistic people.

Like we think about ourselves way, way too much.

And I would argue that it's making us all very miserable.

It's making us all completely miserable because humans are actually not supposed to think about

themselves as much as we think about ourselves.

I made a very, very viral TikTok last year

where I said, everybody wants a village and no one wants to be a villager. And everybody in the

comments was agreeing. So it's like, okay, let's do that, right? Let's do that. So that's sort of

what this episode is about today. You know, when I made the episode last year about we need to be more interesting, it was super popular, it was the most shared episode.

And I took that as a sign to be like, oh, these are the people who can create change in the world.

And you think it's small.
