Everyone loves a good story and a good storyteller.

But there is no storyteller like the Lord Jesus, and there are no greater stories told than the ones Jesus shared.

In this study, spiritual stories, we consider the parables Jesus told

and their application to us. These are truly the greatest stories ever told, and the Lord

We are admonished in Scripture not to call men fools.

And the idea there is that we're to guard, the way we speak to others others the way we speak about others we are not the the judge god is the judge but in scripture there are occasions where god calls men fools

remember the fool hath said in his heart there is no god we believe that when a man denies the existence of God, that's a foolish man.

We also believe that a person could be a practicing atheist while not a professing one,

and he lives like there's no God, and that is just as foolish.

Today we come to one of those fools that the Lord identifies.

In Luke chapter number 12, the parable Jesus told is often referred to as the rich fool.

The emphasis here is not on his money, but on his heart.

It's not on his wealth, his substance, though that was the thing that distracted him and kept him from thinking of God,

it is rather on his inner man, his spirit, his ignorance of the Lord.

It's never about the physical, it's always about the spiritual.

it is as if this parable cries out to us from the pages of the Word of God and says,
