We are picking up with day three of our refresh the mind devotional in the Bible app.

I'm going to read the scripture and then Tori is going to pick up with the diva.

Let's do it.

The scripture is Romans chapter 12 verse 2 and it says this, don't copy the behavior and

customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you

think.

Then you will learn to know God's will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.

I love that verse.

The devotional is titled conformed to the world versus transformed by his word and it says,

we live in a world that champions sin and at times this can greatly impact our minds

through the constant exposure of a lifestyle of sin, whether that's on social media, amongst

friends or around us.

In medical research, the average person spends at least two hours a day on social media.

And within their research, there was an even greater correlation between social media

and anxiety, leading to difficulties sleeping as well as lessened cognitive function.

This research reveals how easy it can be to expose ourselves to content that wants us

to conform to the world and its patterns.
