Hey, this is David from Seattle, and I am on the foredeck of East Bjorn right now, and I wanted to say a couple of words about my own adventure on this boat.

I think the big thing is how surprising it was. I read a lot and tried to prepare myself for what it was going to be like, ultimately, it's just something I had to experience.

I think it was more challenging than I expected, more rewarding, more spontaneous.

We had a lot of side adventures that weren't necessarily in the plan that kind of came together.

And we had almost everything.

It was just such an incredible assortment of sailing and great weather and fog.

Yeah, it was super awesome to be on this boat.

And I hope to do it again soon.

good morning from Sweden after one of the most exciting and busiest years of my life

Mia and I are finally getting a needed break.

I'm recording this from outside the house that we're living in.

That crunchy noise is my footsteps through the snowy path that I'm walking on behind the house.

It's the house Mia's dad grew up in, a charming old farmhouse in the countryside, situated on about 80 acres of land. Our nearest neighbor is about a mile away, which is awesome. We've only been here five days, but I've already settled

into somewhat of a routine. My mornings are spent collecting firewood and lighting the wood furnace,

which is situated in a small outbuilding about 50 feet from the house.

The furnace heats a water tank that in turn pumps the hot water through underground pipes and into the house,

where it circulates through the radiators and through the floor.

I have to tend the fire a few times per day.

It's a shore, but one that makes me focus on something outside of myself, and it's
