because I do think that this is something that we've discussed in the past, and I'd love to know the psychology of it.

The Phillies were garbage, like the Mets were playing, garbage baseball.

Not many people thought Don Mattingly in his past stints as a manager was a great manager.

He just wasn't.

He was fine.

He was average Marlins, Dodgers.

It was okay.

Nothing great.

They are now either 7 and 1 or 8 in 1 since Don Mattingly has taken over for Rob Thompson.

They have the, I believe, in that span, the best run differential and the best starting pitching.

They're the same player.

Maybe Zach Wheeler's back now, not sure, doesn't matter.

By and large, it's the same roster with the same players.

Why now are they winning games at a rapid clip?

I don't know.

That's the weird thing when they change managers midseason and teams go on a run sometimes.

I don't understand.

It's bizarre.
