On this episode of Narcissist Apocalypse Q&A, we talk with am Brandon Chadwick, and with me today, we have Dr. Nicole Bedera. Thank you for being here once

0:42.3

again. Thanks for having me back. I'm excited to chat about true crime. And for those that don't remember,

0:50.6

like me, everyone, I had a complete, complete brain meltdown fog burnout of some sort.

0:59.2

I even forgot that we chatted before.

1:02.4

I was coming on thinking we were about to discuss something that we'd already discussed before.

1:07.6

It was very embarrassing.

1:09.0

But today, we're going to discuss true crime. And you were on our

1:14.8

an episode in December, I think it was. And we were discussing, you know, sexual violence,

1:31.7

true crime there's ethical reasons why we should discuss true crime it's a huge thing in the

1:39.4

podcast world for a lot of people that was the driver of a lot of the podcast world, people coming on

1:49.4

and discussing true crime and the way we, you know, are listening to true crime and the way we are

there's not enough education at the same time. So with that being said, let's discuss,

2:15.5

you know, true crime. Tell us, you know, your thoughts. Well, I think you're

2:21.1

hitting on something really important from the very beginning here, which is that there's a natural

2:26.0

impulse for people to be interested in true crime. And that's because we do not talk about

2:31.9

sexual violence in particular, which is what a lot of true crimes about,

2:35.4

is violence committed by men against women, which is a very small piece of crime, by the way,

2:41.0

you know, in comparison to all of the crime that goes on and violent crime in particular,

2:46.1

it's one piece of the puzzle, but it makes up almost all of true crime.
