This is Holy Family School of Faith.

So, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

And let's call to mind all those that we've promised to pray for.

It is likely your parish church is closed this Sunday.

However, your domestic church should be fully operational

and spiritually vibrant.

So what is a domestic church and how do we make it spiritually vibrant?

Well Jesus told us in John Chapter 14, if anyone loves me, he will keep my word and my father will love him and we shall come to him and make our home with him.

The Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit have made their home in your soul and the souls of the people you live

with that love God and keep His Word.

And since the family is the original cell of the church community,

that means your family, those with whom you live

are the most basic cell of the church.

We think church only happens at church. We think church only happens at church in your parish. But the first place to

live as members of the family of God is in your home with those you love.

So while the churches are closed,

maybe this is the occasion God

is giving us to kick our domestic church,

the church of our family, into high gear, spiritually, so that when

our parish churches reopen, they will be mournful, more vibrant, not less.
