Night 1 of the NFL draft is in the books. It's over. The picks have been made. Dolphins made two small trades.

They took Caden Proctor offensive tackle from Alabama

at pick number 12 after trading down with Dallas, one spot. And then they traded up from pick 30 to

27 with San Francisco and took cornerback Chris Johnson Jr. Tom, before you get into it, how are you

feeling right now? I'm feeling fine um i think the overwhelming sentiment

and we'll get into it on the show is that there's some outrage uh with the pick at uh at 12 um

i could see the vision.

I don't agree with the pick, but, you know, again, this is a brand new regime.

They took a player at a premium position, and we'll see how it plays out.

Now, the back end pick, I'm fine with that.

That, to me, that was a good pick. And there's still a lot of good football players on the board. After all these trades have happened, a couple of surprise picks, there's really good football players on the board. And the dolphins still have the ammo to do what they need to do if they decide to, you know, move up and get somebody. Yeah.
