That's another Miami Dolphins. I want to kick off this Friday edition of the Drive Time Podcast by looking into new Dolphins quarterback Chris Strevler.

And this is a pretty interesting player here joining the squad and from just gathering some of the reaction from the media around the league there's some belief in Stravlors upside here among draft nicks and beat writers and national coverage guys.

We talked in the podcast on Monday about having to find a solution at quarterback

to whether that's finding one on the free agent market and the draft or

retaining Jacobi Brissette but if you could get a player like Streveler in here and

develop his game and a little bit of you know identifying him as such for the season and that's not to cap his

potential there by any means but if you can get him into that role for the

2022 season and feel good about that what a boon that would be. So another tire in the fire, so to speak, an iron in the

fire, I should say, with Chris Trevler, and he served as the Cardinals backup under Colt McCoy for that stretch of

games last year when Kyler Murray was down, so technically

QB3, but he has seen some NFL action the last couple of years.
