Hello and I'm your host and I've realized recently that I say the exact same thing on every episode intro and maybe I should change it up. So, hey, it's me. I'm Rose, I'm the host of this show. This show is Flash Forward.

Flash Forward is a show about the future. Every episode we go to a specific possible or

0:29.5

sometimes not so possible future scenario. We always start with a little audio field trip

0:36.0

into the future to check out what is going on and then we teleport back to today

0:41.5

to talk to experts about how that world that we just

0:45.2

heard might actually happen. Sometimes people ask me why I always say that at the top of

0:50.6

every episode that we do fiction first and then journalism?

0:54.4

And the answer is that in the early days of the show, when I was piloting it and I sent it to people,

0:59.1

if I didn't say that at the top, they thought that the whole thing was made up like all the experts were also

1:03.6

actors which is not the case so we do fiction first then we do journalism and

1:08.1

together we get a better understanding of the future got Great. Oh and today's episode starts with a little

1:15.6

fictional sketch about a murder so if you want to skip that head to about six

1:20.2

minutes into the episode. This episode, we are starting in the year 2022. Hello Monica. Do you have a moment to talk about your data? It is yours after all and just like you it's valuable. Did you know that you could make hundreds of dollars a month just from your data. Lots of

1:56.5

places offer services to sell your data, but only Elmerron offers complete

2:00.6

customization. Sell only what you want.

2:03.7

Nothing more, nothing less.

2:05.8

At Omicron, we see you for you, not for data.

2:09.3

Oh, shut up! up. Cynthia Bell.

2:27.0

Uh, no.

2:29.0

What's your name?

2:30.0

Monica Pugh.

2:32.0

Can I come in? Uh, why?
