Hi everybody, welcome back to the Be There In Five podcast. I'm Kate Kennedy, your host.

This week I've phoned a friend. Some weeks, I want to really get into it. Some weeks, I want

to serve as an escape. We kind of purposefully keep it light, keep it breezy in this episode,

but just if you don't want to like be triggered by my voyage toward the week's events,

or if like hear my parents, I don't know, they don't like hearing me curse. Just skip to like

minute seven probably. My friend and fellow pop culture official, not a Lucy, agreed to chat with me

for just a fun episode. And the thing is like with the week's events, I'm so annoyed with

celebrities. I'm so annoyed that Kim K even brought a per crash diet, talked about our stupid dress.

I'm annoyed that the stupid dresses from Ripley's believe it or not. And believe it or not.

This week was awful and I don't even know how to express it in a short intro.

So this was a tough week for hopefully most of us as there was a leaked Supreme Court draft decision

to overturn Roe versus Wade in a move that would literally set us back half a century.

And women's rights and reproductive rights and our ability to have autonomy over our bodies

and our personal medical and life style choices in ways that brings me such despair. I've been having

trouble functioning, but I know that's not helpful. I've collected from you guys on Instagram. I'm like,

I was curious what the catalyst was for those of you that used to be anti-choice, change your mind

to pro-choice. And I've just been collecting some qualitative data that I'm hoping to yield some

quantifiable results where we can even just talk through like some of the key sticking points that

made people that were either apathetic or didn't think it affected them that kind of were middle

of the road and not really like fighting and voting for this issue because a lot of people,

especially if the fifth glee conservative persuasion, were like, they don't have her over turn

row. And like, here we are. So we need to talk about it. I just, I only want to contribute to
