that productivity equals purpose, that rest is a luxury that you cannot afford. Even when your mind creates endless list of things that you should

radical act of your day. And I know that for many of us, that concept sounds impossible.

Because somewhere along the way, we were taught that our value comes from our output,

that doing more equals being more, that if you're not constantly grinding and hustling and

optimizing that you are somehow wasting your life, that worth is earned through achievement,

not given freely through existence. But the truth that I want to offer you today is that the most meaningful life is in always the

busiest life. It's often the most present one.

There's this productivity trap that we've fallen into.

And understanding how we got here matters because it's not entirely our fault.

And recognizing that can be the first step toward finding a way out of it. We live in a culture that has turned human beings into human doings.

We've made an idol out of busy.

We wear exhaustion like this badge of honor.

We measure our days by what we've crossed off our lists
