Where to begin.

I'll just give you the delay of the land. It is 832 a.m. May 30th, Friday morning, Washington, D.C., third rock from the sun.

So I have a meeting that I can't get out of at 9 a.m. So my plan, hopefully technologically, we have the capability to deal with this,

is to record for 27 and a half minutes and then pick up after the meeting and finish this thing.

And we'll do a compare and contrast about how much more awake my brain is.

I should also do some full disclosure.

I was out late last night.

Saw a bunch of buddies I rarely get to see in person.

I had a really great time.

I told a lot of 1990s Washington stories,

Ben Wattenberg stories.

I got an idea about doing a sort of Tales of the 90s special project kind of thing.

And just I got to decide how ambitious I want it to be because we have very funny stories.

And I've, you know, the dilemma is for me, I found Ben Wattenberg to be a very difficult boss.

At the same time, he wasn't a bad person.

And he did give me my start in Washington.

And so I always struggle with this like, how many stories do I tell, you know,
