Summary

In this stage presentation from an apologetics conference, J. Warner examines the appearance of fine-tuning in the cosmological conditions and constants of the universe. Can this fine-tuning be explained by anything other than God? Is the fine-tuning simply an observational phenomenon? Is God the best explanation?

Jay Warner Wallace is a cold case homicide detective who's been investigating

0:06.4

cold case murders in Los Angeles County for over a decade. His work has been

0:09.9

featured on Fox News, Dateline, and Core TV. Now, we join him as he applies his

0:14.7

investigative skills to making a case for Chrissie N.

0:17.1

We're just gonna jump right in. I know I introduced myself last night to most of

0:27.4

you, but for the few of you who are here for the first time. I'm from Southern

0:30.9

California. I actually live right between Los Angeles and San Diego, but I worked

0:34.6

in Los Angeles County for a number of years just working homicides, and I was

or eight years, it's gonna close. And I cannot solve it because the statute has

1:02.2

expired. But murders are not like that. Murders stay open forever. There is no

1:07.1

statute of limitations for a murder. So I can go back and work those. Then my

1:12.5

cases have been from about 1972 to about 1988. The range of murders that I first

1:18.7

started working. And if you like date line, the last case was on Monday night.

1:23.3

That was a case from 1988. Now what we're doing here is taking a similar

1:29.3

approach is from a book I wrote called God's Crime Scene, where we're gonna look

1:33.5

at the universe using the same skills we do as a detective. We talked about

1:37.9

that last night. If you remember, we used this model of inside or outside the

1:42.9

room. Because what we do is we look at crime scenes and our death scenes and we
