Does using the edits app from Instagram help you get more views on your reels? That is probably the

0:06.3

number one question I've been getting over the last few weeks. And while I have my own hypothesis,

0:11.0

I wanted to figure out the truth. And so I did what we always do here at this podcast, Build Your

0:15.9

Tribe, and in our business, the Insta Club Hub, is, I looked for the data. I did a study.

0:21.1

I pulled the numbers, I did some calculations, and I got an answer.

0:24.8

And so the purpose of today's episode is to outline the study that I did and share my conclusions

0:29.1

with you.

1:11.2

Now, in case you haven't downloaded it or checked it out yet, edits is a very simple editor.

1:15.6

It is built to help you make Instagram reels, and that's about it.

1:19.4

You're not going to be editing any long form content, any horizontal content, any content for YouTube, or any really complex edits within the edits app. It was an app that was

1:28.8

intentionally and explicitly designed to be simple and to be user-friendly. Now, with that being said,

1:34.1

I don't think it's necessarily the best editing app. It's not the one that I prefer. I know they do

1:38.8

have some features planned for the next few months that are going to really improve the app and

1:43.8

improve the editing capabilities of it. But for now, I will say for the next few months that are going to really improve the app and improve the editing
