Hi everyone, it's Beth and Sarah back for another episode of Pantsy at Politics.

We have again just no shortage of things to talk about today.

No, I was watching the local news and or not, I'm sorry, excuse me, the national news.

And the top stories were the shooting in Chicago, the fighter jet, Russian fighter jet

shot down by Turkey and the crazy high terror alert.

And I thought, long in lane of the Starbuck holiday cup and how much I wish we could go

back to that.

It would be nice if you know the red ombre was the biggest thing that we had to debate

right now.

Yeah, that would be nice.

Well, so maybe we should pick up where we left off in our last episode and just touch

on what's happening in terms of ISIS and the conflict in the Middle East.

So today as Sarah just alluded to Turkey shot down a Russian plane in its air space.

And I haven't followed this story too closely, but my understanding is that Turkey's position

is that it gave the Russian plane like many, many opportunities to move out of its air

space before shooting it down.

And I think Russia's position is that it was in Syrian air space and never violated Turkey's

territory.

This feels to me like some confirmation of a comment that you made during our last episode
