Day 8 of our state of the Program series. I'm Stephen Means. That's Andrew Gillis and this is

Buckeye Talk. We're running through position by position as we kind of reset the Ryan Day era of Ohio State football as are entering a pivotal season in

2024. We spent all last week talking about the offensive positions, quarterback, running back,

wide receiver tied in an offensive line in that order and we're halfway

through this week. Really, we're more than halfway through this because there's only four defensive positions and there's five

offensive positions. I don't think we're going to do a special teams one. I just don't know if that makes for good

potting to talk about all the special teams blunders they've had over the years and how it finally took them this

well. Plus special teams recruiting is always in an interesting spot.

So there's only going to be four this week.

This is the Wednesday pod.

We did defensive line on Monday.

We did linebackers on Tuesday and now we're doing

cornerbacks here on Wednesday. And's just it's it's interesting Andrew because you

don't know struggle you don't know hardship you don't know pain. All you know is the nice house with the white picket fence and the dog, you know? You know, you know quality, Ohio State Cornerback play. You don't know what it took to get here. You don't know all the conversations we had. You don't know a player falling down in the peach bowl.

You don't know what 2021 was.

You don't know what 2020 was.

All you know is fruitfulness and that is and that's not the story of the Ohio it's almost like

you don't know the war I had to go through the battles to get to this piece and that's what this pot is going to be
