The subject of my investigation is the abduction of Savannah Guthrie's mom, Nancy.

An 84-year-old widow living a quiet life in the beautiful Catalina foothills of Tucson until she was

abducted. Here's the story. When 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie didn't show for church on Sunday morning,

her family's concern turned into a full-blown criminal investigation.

The mother of Today Show anchor Savannah Guthrie was last seen around 9.45 p.m. on Saturday,

January 31st, at her home in the Catalina foothills north of Tucson, Arizona. She was later

reported missing after relatives found no trace of her inside.

Investigators quickly declared her residents a crime scene saying evidence indicated she did not leave voluntarily and was likely taken against her will, possibly from her bed in the middle of the night.

Forensic teams found blood matching Nancy's DNA on her front porch.

Security cameras and her pacemaker app were disabled around the same time she vanished.

But the FBI was able to recover lost images of a suspect.

And now the search for Nancy and that suspect is in high gear.

The intensity has been turned up big time here and it just seems like things are moving a lot more quickly and there's an opportunity here for investigators to get some real,
