I am crying today because this topic seems to be coming up a lot on the program I listened yesterday with the man that had given up his daughter, my 16 and my daughter is 14 and going off to high school in the fall.

And while we've talked plenty about puberty and relationships and love and marriage, I'm thinking that we need to go into a more in depth discussion about the reality of actual facts.

And I'm just wondering. I don't know what you mean by the reality of actual sex. What exactly does that mean?

Well, like she isn't I've found out recently she's not even very clear about what males look like. I don't believe she knows, you know, exactly what intercourse is.

So I'm just wondering like, you know, I don't want her to be traumatized by the talk or anything like that. But I just want like, you know, maybe an age appropriate way to go about starting that conversation.

What for? I'm not sure I understand the usefulness of this quite frankly because guys have erections and women get moisture eyes.

And it comes pretty natural. The most important thing a young woman needs to understand about sex is the value of it. What gives it value?

And how she will be not only tempted, but coerced by somebody she thinks has her best interest in heart. These are the things she needs more discussion about not exactly how to push your penis into a vagina.

I don't. I just didn't know if you know, I think you're off track. I think the realities of the world in terms of the temptations and the predicament situations like the girls who get raped when they go to parties get drunk and their minds and go in a bedroom with boys and wake up.

Whether they've had a roofie or not and go, oh my god, I was raped. So behavior, you know, no girl keeps away from all that sort of stuff doesn't get drunk, doesn't go off to people's rooms is not going to have a problem on a date.

So these are all the practicalities that she needs to know about not what a penis looks like.

Hey, well, great. We've already started those discussions. I just didn't know if she needed to know more and you're saying that that part will come naturally by its own essential part into her.

It's not the essential part. Perfect.

The part is how she handles herself in life with boys and pressure and desire. Got to handle that all of that. Wonderful. Okay. That stuff I can talk about very, very easily.
