Hey, it's Antries, and welcome to another episode of the Savvy Painter podcast.

It has been a long time, hasn't it?

For those of you who have been listening for a while, you know that I took a break, I hit the

pause button and now I am so happy to be back and creating things for you.

It feels so good to be back.

So my niece's health is improving Julie, my niece Julie, who's been very sick with cancer.

And just today I got the amazing news that her older sister is pregnant and I am so excited by this she and her husband have been

talking about having a baby and now they're having a baby. So amazing news there. It's been an incredible

couple of months, couple weeks. I'm just so grateful for all of that. As I'm

recording this episode I am still in the United States. I'm in

California to be specific and I am determined to make the most of being here.

And I've been thinking about living with uncertainty.

I think this trip has just been an opportunity to play with that a little bit, with all the uncertainty with my

niece's health and with all the things that have been happening in this trip.

For example, most recently, my flight has been canceled three times.

All in all, my return home has been pushed back by 24 days and my

fingers are crossed that it doesn't get pushed back even further. It's happened in increments, so I have been ready to go home three separate times. Just so excited to see my husband, so excited to see my dogs, bags packed, everything, and then I get this email that once again the flight has been cancelled and they'll let me know when they have a new one.

So as it stands now, my flight again,

is gonna leave in two weeks.
