Well, in my line of work, I often find myself giving the same advice to people all the time. It's not because

their situations aren't unique or their circumstances aren't challenging or their problems

are particularly difficult. Really what it is is I give advice to young adults a lot and young adults are often

going through the same set of circumstances as one another. We find that you're going through

many of the same life events facing many of the same challenges as one another. And so I'm

constantly repeating the same things to people.

So I thought I would just stand up here and I would just tell you what I might tell you

if you ever came up to me.

So you can identify for yourself if you fall into one of these categories.

But maybe you're here and you're anxious about the future.

What I would tell you is you can't predict what will happen tomorrow, but you can't prepare

what's happening today. Maybe you're frustrated with God. I would tell you, just because God is

silent doesn't mean that God is absent. Maybe you're hearing you're reconciling with someone.

I would tell you forgiveness is given in a moment, but trust, trust is earned over time.

Maybe you're unfulfilled at work. Show of hands. Anybody? Just kidding. Don't do that.

I would tell you, money is a useful tool, but it makes a terrible master. Maybe you're struggling with sin. I would tell you nothing

likes to die, but certainly some things should. Maybe you feel misunderstood, and I would tell you,

you can have the best of intentions and still be wrong.

Some of you need to learn discipline.

I would tell you, small habits, they matter more than big decisions.

Some of you, you're here tonight and you feel spiritually stuck.

And I would tell you, growth rarely happens in your comfort zone. So you should try
