And I'm Antonia Dodge. I was recently listening to a podcast. It was Dax Shepherds podcast called Armed Chair Expert and he

Dax Sheppard is a Hollywood type he's an, and he interviews a lot of people in Hollywood.

And I don't usually listen to those, but he's got a series called Experts on Expert,

which is when he brings in experts in the field and intellectuals and interviews them.

And he was recently interviewing Brett Weinstein,

who I personally love listening to in podcast form or you know his interviews I think he's a

really smart dude and he's an evolutionary biologist and he studies evolutionary you know like like biological mating amongst

different animals and he's just a really interesting guy and he recently

said something in that podcast that as a person who is forever trying to grab whatever principles I can and sort of

shoehorn them into personal development and ego transcendence work I thought

was sort of fascinating not only for the concept itself,

but also for where I'm at in my time period of growth and life right now. He mentioned that one of the challenges that we have

is that aggressive people have a distinctive evolutionary advantage over non-aggressive people.

And yet what we're all trying to do as a society is get to a place where we're not constantly

battling everything out.

Now we're not that successful either, know sort of like like like either physically

already ideologically we still are surrounded by people who are very easy to go to

war if they feel offended or if they feel like they are being threatened in anyway.

And I would say in the culture that we live in, you can definitely see this if not physically

also, but specifically ideologically people are very

aggressive ideologically in our current society I think that that's I don't think
