So up guys, Derek more plates more dates.com. Today we're going to be talking about just

0:03.9

creteam cause hair loss. So this is super highly requested topic. A lot of guys have asked me.

0:10.1

It's something that's a lot harder to prove. It's rather than saying yes or no. I just kind of

0:14.5

want to delve into first of all the study that everyone references as far as implying that it does

0:19.7

cause hair loss and everyone you know talks about

0:21.8

this study as the reference point for okay I got to stop creatine now because it did this

0:26.0

then I'm going to show you my own blood work on creatine as an example and I'm going to show you

0:31.8

another set of blood work that was brought to my attention from another guy on the Reddit who

0:37.0

basically did a before and after on

0:38.7

fanasteride without creatine and with creatine and the difference in his dhacht levels so the first thing

we want to look at is the study everyone talks about which is the study called three weeks of

0:50.4

creatine monohydrate supplementation effects dihydro testosterone to testosterone ratio in college

age rugby players so in this study they basically assessed the testosterone serum concentrations

and dhc levels of college aged rugby players there's only 20 of them which is notable and it took

1:09.1

place during their competitive season. They loaded

1:11.8

with creatine at 25 grams per day or placebo for seven days followed by a maintenance of 14

1:18.8

days with 5 grams per day. So, you know, a fairly standard creteen, you know, loading phase

1:23.7

followed by maintenance of 5 grams afterwards. You've probably done the same thing if you're on creatine. So basically the results showed that after seven days of creatine loading or a further

1:33.1

14 days of creatine maintenance, serum testosterone levels did not change. However, levels of DHT

1:38.8

increased by 56% after seven days of creatine loading and remained 40% above baseline after 14 days maintenance.

1:46.0

The Dht to testosterone ratio also increased by 36% after seven days.

1:51.0

Creightine supplementation and remained elevated by 22% after the maintenance dose.
