Now here's your host, Andrew Hayes. Hey hey there ladies and gentlemen welcome to this episode of Tackle Talk. I am your

steward Andrew Hayes today we're going to be diving all into the weeds when it comes to color

choice for each and every kind of lure that you could possibly imagine.

We're going to break this down into a couple different

categories we're going to start with top water then we're going to move into

subsurface baits and then we're going to go to bottom contact baits so this

isn't going to be a discussion or talking I guess about just you know what

colors work what colors don't we're gonna really break it down we're gonna

get into the weeds like I said I'm gonna give my opinion on a lot of this stuff

some of you may agree, some may disagree, but I firmly believe that a lot of times the color of lures are meant to just empty your pockets and not necessarily help you become a better

angler. So I really want to to dive into this topic and kind of give my thoughts and

opinions on what colors I like, what colors I don't like, what colors I think are necessary to keep in your box and then also kind of breaking down each type of lure and you know how important is color. Why is it important? We're going to really get into this.

First I want to start with top water lures.

I think the easiest and one to just get out of the way right away is frogs.

I know we all know somebody that needs to hear this,
