a rankings problem and before we dive into the sort of pros and cons of this, Michael Siddwick,

why are rankings so important?

In other words, why do we do we ruin this for everyone?

I want to make something explicitly clear before we begin this podcast, because it would

be just by bloody luck for this to be clicked out of context when I've been the goddamn

mascot for this promotion that I mostly think is awesome.

The ranking system is crucial.

I am not calling at all for them to get rid of the ranking system.

The ranking system does far, far, far, far more good than bad.

I just think there are certain other factors that are happening in parallel that is making

the ranking system feel like something approaching a cause and solution to AW's problems.
