Okay, so home off days, both have been not consumed, but Patches has been a part of both of them.

For those new listeners, welcome.

We found a morning dove in our backyard. It's about two weeks ago now.

Yeah, almost exactly two weeks. It was the day we were leaving for Colorado, right?

Yes. Or the day before. The day before, yeah.

And it's been an adventure.

We were trying to figure out what to do with Patches because Patches is his name.

He had a big wound on his right, kind of almost at the base of his right wing and couldn't fly.

He was super in shock and we were going to take him to his shelter and then i came across the believe she's now known as the the bird whisperer oh i think it should

just be in general the animal whisperer she's like dr doolittle honestly like it's unbelievable

so found this woman the sweetest soul. She is incredible on next door as we were

pulling up to the shelter and she, I would say Patches was pretty much on death row and they were likely

going to euthanize him. Just probably lack of resources or someone there to be able to help him and
