Have the Dodgers reached a point where they're a villain and the Mariners being like the David Goliath thing that people actually get behind that.

Are there enough people out there who still care about baseball nationally enough?

Because we love it here, Mets and Yankees, but the other teams we don't care so much about.

But could you see like a momentum behind the Mariners slay in the dragon? Yeah, I mean, it's kind of like Kansas City Chiefs. It's kind of like the Patriots and football where both teams have had huge success and everybody's kind of tired of it. They want to see some fresh blood. And maybe that's something, you know, why the, for some people, not all people, not around here anyway, the Philadelphia Eagles were, you know, everybody was hoping that they would knock off the Patriots. But yeah, I can see a little bit of that. I mean, it's not like they have unlikable players. That's the thing, too. I mean, they do, they go about their business. It's very businesslike. It's not in your face. It's not like pointing in the other team's dug out.

It's not bat flipping and all that other crap. It seems like they have a really solid business approach to what they're doing. I do know this, that if Seattle does make it, they do have

themselves a very solid pitching staff from the starters all the way through the relievers. So maybe they are the team that can take on the mighty Dodgers if they make it there. And maybe they can upset the Dodgers. I'm sure that they would be underdogs. But I got to tell you, the way that they're playing and the way that they're pitching right now, it seems like they're on a collision course. Yeah, I mean, they're hitting a lot of home runs, which may be neutralized by what the Dodgers is doing if it ends up being that. But yeah, I mean, I could see maybe that being a bit of an interesting thing because the Mariners are never really there, not like the Blue Jays are ever there either, but the Mariners are never really there. they got a, in the U.S. as opposed to Toronto.

And they got a guy in Cal Raleigh, who was a really fun superstar player with a great nickname.

So, I mean, that would be something that would be at least relatively fun.

But, I mean, it just, this, for the people that talk about the broken business of baseball,

even though you've got some other teams in there that aren't in the top two or three,

but this is the example of all examples.

This is I rest my case situation with the Dodgers if they win again and if they win again easily,

which is, okay, you spend the most money, you get the most players, the best players, and you win the World Series in back-to-back years. Yeah, that's basically what is. Pretty much was what it is. And if you're in their division, like you're San Diego, you're San Francisco, you're Arizona. Like, what do you think? How do you overcome them?

I mean, I don't know if you can't.

What you're thinking is that when this CBA comes up, this is going to be a major, major fight.

Because the Dodgers winning again could be the worst possible thing for baseball because...
