Tuesday, March 4th. Hope you guys are having a good day so far. At the end of yesterday's episode,

I said if anybody wants me to recap, Devil in the Family, the Fall of Ruby Frankie, let me know.

And boy, you guys let me know in the comments, in my email, inboxes

on social media that you would like for me to do this. So I spent some time last night

rewatching episode one and making notes. A lot of people don't have access to Hulu where they live

or just don't subscribe, but still are interested. I had several people say they would

like to hear a recap, but really couldn't bring themselves to watch the documentary, which

it is one of those that has stayed with me in the days since I watched it. So let's jump right

in. The first episode is titled Abundance. Now in the documentary, there are voiceovers with YouTube footage as well as outtakes

we never saw until now.

It really shows the contrast of what you saw as a viewer versus what it was really like

for everybody in the family as their YouTube channel was in the various stages of growth.

This opens with ring camera footage of her youngest son at Jody Hildebrandt's neighbor's house after escaping.

The man comes out and the boy says, I was wondering if you could do me two favors. Take me to the

nearest police station. Well, actually, one's fine.

The man asked what's going on, and the boy says his personal business, so the man tells the child to have a seat.

Ruby's daughter, Sherry, says over the years, she's come to understand evil in a way most

don't.

She believes Satan is a real person, and what Ruby has done, it crossed a line of abusive

to psychotic and full-on evil.

They showed Jody being pulled out of her house by law enforcement, and the audiences told
