This week, we are talking about the real blingering Hollywood heist.

It's a docu-series on Netflix that tells the true story about an infamous friend

group that targeted residences in Hollywood and Calabasas and stole property totaling up to

$3 million. This all happened between like 2008 through 2013 from kind of the start,

if you will, till we actually have like conclusions, trials and things like that. I remember

when this was happening. At first first it was hard to kind of figure

out exactly, you know, what was going on. Like it was a lot harder to catch, you know, a first

time criminal. And they talk about this in the documentary, how, you know, our fingerprints aren't

in the system. Our faces aren't in the system. Like, how are they going to know exactly who we are?

But they started to notice a trend that was going on.

And it started to become bigger and bigger.

It started one night, according to Nick Prugo himself.

He probably has one of the largest evolvements in this. And Nick, I mean,

no shade with that. Everything's kind of out on the table, thanks to you opening up on this documentary.

But it kind of starts out with this girl, Rachel, and Nick, hanging out one night. And they kind of like check car doors.

And I guess this is something Rachel had done before and kind of introduced Nick to in his

version of events.

And sure enough, one of the cars in Calabasasas was open.

And so was the draw to stealing. I mean, this is the valley. Calabasas is kind of one of its own
