We've talked about physical nourishment. That's a part. The word of wisdom is about the spiritual nourishment. That's a means to the end.

We not only receive physical nourishment. We also receive spiritual nourishment in this revelation.

Verse 19, and shall find wisdom and great treasures

of knowledge, even hidden treasures.

We finished my writing team in curriculum.

We finished the Old Testament manual recently. I remember a lesson we did in Daniel.

Daniel told the prince of the eunuchs that were set over him that they could prove him. I love that

word. That's so rarely found in scripture. Prove him. I beseech thee. And give us pulse. Pulse are foods that are made out of grains and nuts.

Then he said, give us water to drink.

Then look at our countenances after 10 days of not eating the king's meat or the wine.

After 10 days, they looked at their countenances, and they were fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children that ate the portion of the king's meat. Then, because they did that, they told Daniel and his friends, you don't need to eat the meat and the wine.

You can have pulse. The very next verse, as for these children, God gave them knowledge and

skill in all learning and wisdom. Daniel had understanding in visions and dreams.

Now, at the end of the days, the king had said that he should bring them in, then the princes

of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.

The king communed with them.

Among them, all was found none, like Daniel, Hananiah, Michael, and Azariah.

You know them as Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego.

Therefore, stood they before the king.

In matters of wisdom and understanding that the king inquired of them, he found them

ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in his realm.
