0:12.0	And we've been talking about all these terrible things the church is going through,
0:16.0	but something really good happens on April 14th, 1832.
0:19.0	At least for me personally, and I know John for you too,
0:23.0	a man, I think it's two families joined the church.
0:28.0	The youngs and the Kimbles.
0:31.0	What can you tell us a little bit about them, Matt?
0:34.0	So yeah, in April of 1832,
0:37.0	Brigham Young, Hebris C. Kimball,
0:39.0	the late Kimball, Miriam Young, or baptized.
0:43.0	That by the way, Matt, has a little bit of impact on the church.

0:54.0	Yeah. The great thing about this is that, you know,
0:58.0	what happens in April 1832 is actually the culmination of a couple of years of work.
1:05.0	And so, Samuel Smith in 1830 goes on a mission.
1:11.0	He takes the Book of Mormon with him back into the Eastern United States.
1:15.0	And he meets Brigham Young's sister, Rota, who is married to John P. Green.
1:22.0	And he leaves the book with Rota and John.
1:26.0	And they read it, they're intrigued by it,
1:28.0	and they share it with others around them.
