1:01.4	Morgan Gardner. Barbara thoroughly enjoys teaching religion at BYU. She's teaching the doctrine
1:06.4	of covenants, the eternal family and the teachings of the living prophets. Her research interests
1:11.0	focus primarily on women in religious leadership, international education, most specifically Latin
1:16.7	America and religious pedagogy. That's another word, Hank, maybe you could define for us pedagogy.
1:22.5	Yes. I think it's about bicycling, I think. She's the author of the book, The Priested Power of
1:27.8	Women in the Temple Church and Family. Barbara received her PhD in Instructional Psychology.
1:33.7	Her master's degree is in Educational Leadership and Foundations with an emphasis on
1:39.6	International Education Development. She completed postdoctoral work at Harvard University.
1:45.4	She served as Institute Director in Boston, which included her assignment as I love this, the
1:50.5	Chaplin at both Harvard and MIT. She continues to serve as the Chaplin at large and higher education
1:57.8	for the LDS church. She also serves on the BYU Interfaith Outreach Council. Before teaching at BYU,
2:04.4	she worked as a seminary and institute teacher as well as a researcher for the church educational
2:09.9	system. She was born and raised in Salem, Oregon, served a Spanish-speaking mission in the Los
