Oh, that is so crazy, we've been so excited for this year.

It is nuts that we have shifted over to this new book, but super exciting too, because I don't know, new years do that kind of thing to you where you're just like, alright.

Fresh start, I've got new like ambitions and goals and hopes for my study this year, for our family, personally, whatever it is, and it's cool that we can kind of get going.

Listen, we've been teaching seminary in Institute for a long time and this is the hardest book to teach as a teacher.

And it's because there's no storyline to it, like embedded in the actual scriptures.

And so, yeah, and so sometimes like some of the verses seem to be, can be bland or repetitive or something and you're sort of like...

And the themes, you're gonna cycle through temples and missionary work and what else?

So, it's over and over. We're gonna come back to them again and again.

And so, you just feel like you're repeating the same lessons over and over when you are the teacher.

As we started talking, we were like, what's gonna make this book fun?

Like, what are we gonna do that is gonna make studying the doctrine and covenants interesting and exciting, but also like, mean something applicable.

And what's gonna be the inspiration behind everything that we're learning this year?

Yeah, so, one of our first things is we're really interested in teaching both the content of what's actually in the words and then the context.
