I welcome you all to our conference that is taking place more than a year after the tragic events

began in Gaza,

and it is the least that we can do to come and show our support,

to come and understand what is going on,

and most importantly to be educated ourselves

so that, inshallahua ta'a

we can begin to influence other people.

But before we begin our talks, obviously,

we want to begin first and foremost with a recitation of the Holy Quran.
