The new film finds Dr. Strange battling an unexpected nemesis as he comes to the aid of a teenager

with the power to travel across alternate universes.

So there is a phrase I use a lot on this show.

But I'm trying not to use it quite so much that phrase is there's a lot to unpack.

And yet there is no way I can even begin to unpack the interlocking complexities that explain

where Dr. Strange in the Multiverse of Madness fits into the endlessly sprawling Marvel Cinematic

Universe that is saying nothing of all the spoilers we're going to try to avoid and

though we are going to do our best not to spoil anything major here, we are bound to

get into some of the basic contours of what's going on.
