We should call Julian. We should. So they're trailing 3.0 in a relegation playoff series, meaning that if they don't win, they go to the league below. And essentially, they think, well, that will inspire them to come back. And I get firing a coach in that instance because you're about to get kicked out of the league you're in. And you're going to fire that coach anyway. Exactly. I think that's what Vegas thought. I think that's exactly what they thought with Bruce Cassidy. We're going to fire him anyway. fire under the team. Why not? Why the hell not? The wording of John Tortorella's hiring

is so funny. Like he's signed for the remaining eight games of the season. What? He's going to be

your head coach for less than 10% of the season. And then the playoffs are going to start. Yeah. I don't know, man. It's as good an idea as any. The trade deadlines passed. You can't do anything about that. All you can do is fire your coach and get another guy. The real question is, is this the other guy? Jesse, is this the other guy for you? Is John

Tortorella the guy you would have picked up the phone and called? I think this is the most

fun outcome and the most correct outcome. Okay. To galvanize your troops for eight games in a

playoff run, why not get the most fiery guy in hockey? I think John Tortorella is a perfect pick.

And like stylistically, they're not going to forget how to play Bruce Cassidy hockey. Stylistically, who cares? What you were doing wasn't working. That too. Whatever you're doing that's going to be new is at least going to be hockey that you know is different than the losing hockey you've been playing this entire season.
