Duty and honor. Our topics today. Do your duty with honor. Two words that used to be for thousands and thousands of years in many cultures, all cultures.

I would say all that I know of.

These words, these ideas, these virtues were very all that I know of.

These words, these ideas, these virtues were very, very important.

Duty and honor, duty and honor.

Perhaps in some nations these are still important but in sadly in many and most

these words are no longer heard very much, certainly not in the media, certainly not in our education system.

Let's talk about why these words are so important, why they have been so important to human society, these

virtues, these words, these ideas for thousands and thousands of years and we have forgotten.

But this happens sometimes in life.

We can see in history that different countries, different times in history.

These words, these virtues, these ideas are forgotten.

They become weak.

And then the country, the society falls. Maybe they're invaded, maybe they fall apart, maybe

economically fall apart, great suffering, chaos, problems, violence, and then people wake up and realize, ah, duty and honor are very

important, and everyone remembers again, and so they sort of come back. This is the good news.
