Femi, the news on Packers quarterback Jordan Love comes courtesy of Tom Silverstein,

who's covered the Packers Forever for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

A source said that Jordan Love's surgery went, quote, perfect.

Perfect.

The Packers are hopeful that Love can do some things in practice next week, but his first

game action won't be until the regular season opener against the Detroit Lions.

So I guess that's as good an update as you were going to get. Like surgery went well, we won't see him in a game until the opener against Detroit on Sunday, September 7th. Yeah, I think that's really good news there for the Green Bay Packers. Crisis averted. Because like when you see thumb with a quarterback, you panic a little bit.

But the fact that it's the offhand, I think he'll be a okay.

And if the surgery went perfect, not a whole lot to worry about. Just keep everybody else healthy. I'm sure the Green Bay Packers, given their history, somebody else will pop up on the injury report. Knock on wood. We want them to stay healthy as we do all 32 teams. but yeah, this is the big one for them that could wreck the season.
