The NFL tampering period kicks off in less than five hours. That means there's going to be a lot of free agency moves coming up today, including, hopefully, the Washington commanders in the mix.

The first two seasons of Adam Peters, Dan Quinn era, have featured unexpected highs and lows for the commanders.

In 2024, they won a surprise run in an industry championship game behind Jaden Daniels' exceptional rookie season.

They then attempted to go all in with Daniels on his rookie deal by bringing in a number of older veterans to try and expedite their run

at a championship. In the process, the commanders seemingly skipped the true rebuild, and the

strategy failed as injuries, a lack of youth, and defensive woes got the better of Washington.

All that said, have we lost faith in Adam Peters as general manager to make the right moves

It's that it was like a some catastrophe, the way they approached the first two years.

They had a roster they hated.

They had to bring in some veterans, try to instill a culture, et cetera.

It worked in the year one, the second year with all the injuries.

It didn't work.

So I don't think that they fell off or anything.
