Summary

Today's question comes from Glen, who asks about scripting podcasts. I share my thoughts about podcasting off-the-cuff, with a script, and with an outline. Do you have a question about podcasting? Record it at http://www.askpat.com/.

0:23.8

Hi, Pat.

0:24.8

My name's Glenn.

0:25.8

I have another question for you today about podcasting and specifically regarding scripting for podcasts.

0:33.5

0:37.7

0:45.7

if you've used any or all three of these methods, and if so, which ones have worked most

0:52.5

effectively for you? I find sometimes I stumble over my words,

0:56.6

so I'm kind of leaning towards scripting currently,

1:00.0

1:01.6

1:05.3

I don't want it to sound manufactured and fake.

1:08.2

So I'm wondering if you use any of these methods, and if so, which one you like the best

1:14.0

and why. Thanks a lot. Love everything you do. Keep it up. Hey, Glenn, what's up? Thank you so much for the

1:21.4

question today. First of all, your mic sounds great. So you're getting into podcasting. Great job.

1:26.4

And I think you have the right mindset in terms of just making sure that you're approaching this in the right way. Now, when I started podcasting, I didn't really get any advice in terms of how to approach recording my show. I got some advice eventually in order to how to put it all together, but actually recording my voice was a big struggle for me.
