0:00.0	Hebrews chapter 12 verses 28 and 29 this is the message translation come on let's read it together as a family
0:08.4	it says do you see what we've got an unshakable kingdom and do you see how thankful we must be
0:18.0	not only thankful but brimming with worship, deeply reverent before God. For God is not
0:26.7	an indifferent bystander. He's actively cleaning house, torching all that needs to burn,

1:17.1	One of them, an expert in the law, tested him with this question.
1:22.9	Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the law?
1:30.2	What a great question. In essence, he's saying,
1:37.2	yo, it's a whole lot of stuff I'm supposed to be doing. Tell me what's the one thing I need to do.
1:43.1	What is the greatest commandment? I know it's a lot of them, but what is the greatest one? And listen to the reply from the greatest human who has ever
1:46.9	walked the face of this earth. He gives the answer to what the greatest commandment is. Love the Lord
1:53.7	your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind. This is the first and greatest commandment. In essence,
2:06.6	he's saying the core of Christianity, the core of your faith is right there in that verse.
2:14.8	If you would just do that, everything else will take care of itself

2:27.3	extra bonus and says the second is just like it love your your neighbor as yourself. All the law and the prophets hang on these two commandments. All you got to do. This that's red letter talk right there by the way. Jesus says all I need you to do is love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind.
