This is the movement of the Holy Family, leading people to Jesus through friendship, good conversation and the Rosary. Well, welcome to our Rosary meditation.

I am so happy this evening that I'm blessed to have Francis Smith and her

matter if we didn't exist at all. But we vastly underestimate the truth and the dignity of our

human existence. First, dignity is kind of a vague and misunderstood idea.

Dignity is the human greatness, our human greatness,

insofar as it demands respect from oneself and from others.

Now the last document of Vatican II, Gaudiamat Spez, outlines three levels of human dignity.

We each have a natural dignity

since we were made in the image of God

with an immortal soul and three powers of the soul,

intelligence, passion, and free will.

But each of us also have an acquired dignity that comes from the result of the capacity and the

talents that God has given us that we've developed and perfected.

Some area of expertise or experience, a family we've raised or a business venture we created,

or an office or area of leadership that we've cultivated.

And most importantly, as baptized Christians, we have an infused supernatural dignity.
