We're always, all of us in our minds, trying to control every little

part of our day that we actually have no control over, but somehow we feel safe if we think

we're controlling things. But what we're actually doing is making ourselves crazy. So much of the day and so much of our energy is wasted on trying

to make other people do things we want them to do or for situations to be different than what they

are. And I have worked and will continue to work on trying to just accept what is, right?

And the only thing we can control is how we respond.

And that is intellectually very simple to understand.

But putting that into practice is a whole other set of problems.
