Well, earlier this summer, my wife and I, our two daughters, we went out to Orange Beach, Alabama, to spend some time with my wife's family.

So we flew into Pensacola on a Tuesday, and we're going to fly out on Sunday.

Now, on Wednesday, we sat around for dinner as a family. We ate dinner, and then afterwards we're just kind of sitting around and talking. My father-in-law goes, hey, what time do you guys fly out on Sunday? So I pull up my Southwest app and look at our flight, and I'm like, hey, we're flying out at 11 a.m. But as I was looking at it, I realized there's a ticket for me. There's a ticket for my 10-month-old

daughter, Callie. There's a ticket for my three-year-old daughter, Jacey, and there's not a ticket for my

wife. So, yeah, which is a problem. So don't think of me any differently, but I do have a companion pass this year through Southwest, which means that she gets to fly free, and there's this button that just says, hey, add companion. So I hit the button, and it said, error, unable to do this over the app, you must call this number. So I get up from the table where everyone is, and I step outside, and I go, hey, there's this error on the app. It says that I can't get a ticket. And they're like, oh, yeah, we're so sorry about that. That's because the flight's full. And at that part, my heart just like sunk to my toes. I'm like, what do you mean the flight's full? They're like, there's not a ticket available for your wife?

I'm like, is there anything you can do? They're like, there's nothing we can do. And I was like, okay, I've got an idea. My daughter's three years old. She's just going to sit on my lap the entire flight. It's going to be fine. My wife will take her seat. My daughter will sit on my lap. it's going to be great. And they're like, no, sorry, FAA says it has to be two years old

and under. And at this point, I just start to panic. I ask her question after question again and again and again. She says the same thing, and again and again and again. Eventually, I hang up and call the same number again, because I'm like, someone else is going to fix this for me. So I called and they tell me the exact same thing.

I hang up and open the door and if you just ever want to feel about this call, go in and tell

your in-laws, I forgot to buy your daughter a flight. Horrible moment. The only good news of that

moment was, we weren't at the gate yet. It was Wednesday

and we had time. So what we did in that time is I kept calling, I kept checking, I kept refreshing

the app to see is the ticket going to open up? Eventually we moved our flights from Sunday to Saturday, so we were all

together, and then eventually the tickets did open up actually on Sundays. So we moved from Saturday

back to Sunday, and we all got on our original flight, and we all made it back. The only good thing

was I found out early. Because if I wouldn't have checked in advance if I had a ticket, I would have got to the

gate and said, I feel like I bought her a ticket. I think I bought her a ticket. And they would have said,

it doesn't matter what you think you did or what you feel like you did. You don't have a

ticket. So she's not getting on. The only good thing was we found out she didn't have a ticket before we got to the gate.

This morning, I want to start with some bad news.

We are going to look at a scripture that is potentially the scariest in all of the Bible.

I don't think that's an overstatement.

Because what Jesus is about to say is he's going to say, there are many of you, in his
