I've got an 8-year-old, though. So this story applies to me, I guess, the most. It has to do with an allowance.

Okay. My kid doesn't have an allowance. I don't think any of my kids had an allowance,

to be honest with you. But 61% of parents say their kids are more financially responsible

with money than they were at the same age with children now earning an average.

It's blew me away. Of $52 per month in allowance.

That's not that much.

I thought an allowance was like a couple bucks a week.

We're pretty generous with them.

You know, pretty much get... I never gave my kids allowances. I don't think I ever really had to set allowance for them. When they were in college, my wife, on the down low, was feeding them money. I had no idea. So they kind of had an allowance then. She was feeding them a lot of money. I thought I was being a Mr. Big Silly, giving him like a huntsky, you know, after a game or something.

Hey, cheap skate, mom. It's fucking us. Mom, she's already set in 500. Yeah. I didn't even know that scheme was going on. So your kids didn't have like stuff they had to do and then. I mean, like I think I got I think I got $10 a month to like take out the trash or something.
