Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to another Mornings with the Masters.

We're devoted ourselves to the Lord daily with you.

We are rounding out with day five of our devotional Bible I'm titled, Flourish in Gratitude.

And as always, I'm going to read the scripture that I'm also going to pick with the Devo.

The scripture is John chapter 21 verses 15 through 17.

And they say this.

After breakfast, Jesus asked Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? Yes, Lord, Peter

replied, you know I love you. Then feed my lambs, Jesus told him. Jesus repeated the question,

Simon, son of John, do you love me? Yes, Lord, Peter said, you know I love you. Then take care of my sheep,

Jesus said. A third time he asked him, Simon,

said of John, do you love me? Peter was hurt that Jesus asked the question a third time. He said,

Lord, you know everything. You know that I love you. Then Jesus said, then feed my sheep. The devotion was

There isn't one person who can look back at their past without being reminded of some mistake

and leave their mark on our hearts. Mistakes are a part of every story.

In the Gospels, we observed the story of Peter denying Jesus three times, following Jesus' arrest.

And this was hours after he said he would never deny him.

Imagine the angst and feelings of guilt and failure Peter must have felt.

We know he left the courtyard and wept bitterly.
